Portraits of tokyo humanity
In fleeting moments, they reveal truly beautiful expressions. And through the viewfinder, our eyes meet. In that instant, I always feel a chill run down my spine. I speak to them and quietly press the shutter. Amid the lingering glow of the flash, I stand frozen for a moment, suspended between illusion and reality.
In that suspended space, the borders of nationality, race, and gender begin to lose their definition—as if we are simply two beings meeting, without names, without expectations. Each is something to someone, yet simultaneously an individual who is nothing.
